"I'm Mario Becerra. My grandfather and my father were shoemakers so, ever since I was a boy, my life has been centered around leather. When I was about to finish college, a friend and I were offered a leather shop that was being sold at a very low price. We pooled our savings and were able to buy it. At first we crafted accessories like wallets, billfolds and card cases. We had very few customers and did everything ourselves. We've grown little by little and today we create travel bags, briefcases and ladies' handbags.

"We first select the leather and cut out the article according to the design. Then we assemble the piece along with the lining, taking special care that the seams are perfectly straight because if you aren't careful with these details from the very beginning, the article won't come out well. All of my products have parts that are crafted totally by hand, otherwise we couldn't offer the styles we do. I'm always searching for new designs and different combinations.
