"I started weaving bamboo handbags in 2002 just for my own personal use as well as my daughter's. I've always liked accessories that are different and original. Little by little, friends admired my handbags and began placing orders! At first it was very difficult to find the material until eventually a friend told me of a good supplier, which enabled me to fulfill all the orders. Later on, I discovered resin and its innumerable color possibilities, which inspired me to design and create other models.

"My handbags' main characteristic is the meticulous work that goes into each one. I learned to make them by myself - I never received specialized instruction. However, I am always aware of the current trends and the fashionable colors for each season when I am designing. I recognize this is necessary in order to appeal to the public's taste. In return, I derive great pleasure when I see a person's expression of wonder when she sees one of my bags.

"I am hopeful that through Internet, more people will be able to have access to my work and appreciate it. For me, working with Novica is a new and promising experience."
