Ajay Jain

"Hello, I'm Ajay Jain and I was born in Agra. I spent most of my childhood in another city where I did my schooling. But the time I spent in Agra was fun. After my schooling, I returned there and completed a master's degree in economics.

Agra is a beautiful city. Besides being the site of one of the world's most fascinating monuments, the Taj Mahal, Agra is also known for its arts and crafts that date back to the ancient era.

"Our family has worked in arts and crafts for many years now. Our intention is to keep the old heritage of art and culture alive in this fast moving machine age.

"We are engaged in artistic work representing the Mughal and Hindu Dynasties, all created totally by hand. Most of the techniques we use are traditional. We still work with the ancient tools.

"We are involved with many art forms using media such as marble, dhurrie rugs, embroidery and more, and collaborate with highly skilled and expert artisans.

"Novica's concept of offering products by Internet to art lovers across the globe is outstanding. It is a win-win situation for the art lover as well as the creator."
