"I started learning the art of beading when I was very young, only seven years old. I remember all the woman of my family working in beadwork. In fact, a long time ago, the men also used to bead, although not anymore.

"I worked for others until I set up my own workshop in 1999. Now I can share my work with as many as 40 other women. That's the part I enjoy the most, to be able to help the women of my village.

"Beading is a very tough work. It requires a lot of patience and our eyes get tired, but at the end we create beautiful objects. What I love to bead most are necklaces, which I make only for myself."
